Myths and Legends of the Celtic Race was published by George G. Harrap London in 1916 and is the second and revised edition that documents and charts the ancient Celtic myths and legends.
Myths and Legends of the Celtic Race original green boards have gilt lettering to the front and spine. The front board has white stains giving a mottled effect, only slight to the back board and spine clear. Overall the boards are in Good condition with the gilt still very bright.
There are 456 numbered pages with the top edge tinted green and the remainder untrimmed. Opposite the Title Page is a full page colour frontispiece of Queen Meave by J.C. Leyendecker. The Myths and Legends of the Celtic Race is superbly illustrated with fifty-eight full-page illustrations.
The pages are in overall Very Good condition with the front and rear endpapers browned; light browning to the margins of the Title Page; small marginal closed tear to page vii/viii. Pages ix and the List of Illustrations are unopened. Most pages are still clean and tightly bound-in.
