The Patchwork Girl of Oz measures 7.00 x 9.25 inches (approximately), 340 numbered pages with the synopsis for the Wizard of Oz books The Land of Oz, Ozma of Oz, Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz, and The Emerald City of Oz.
This early Wizard of Oz book has its original green binding. The front board has a large illustration of The Patchwork Girl by John R. Neill. The spine is also decorated by John R. Neill. The Patchwork Girl binding is in Very Good condition with fading to the spine, wear to the top and bottom of the spine, a red mark to the top right of the front board, light corner knocks and edge wear, and light marks to the back board. Otherwise, an extremely clean and attractive first edition first state binding for this early Wizard of Oz book.
